MY ROLE
I am the VP of Communications and one of the founders of Aspire STL. This is a new club at SLU for woman and other underrepresented businesspeople to grow professionally together.
CHALLENGE
Having created the club in spring 2019, it is still a new club and developing brand.
OBJECTIVE
As the VP of Communication, I am responsible for external outreach and promotional efforts to build brand awareness on social media and around campus. One initiative I am currently leading is weekly themed #wonderwomanwednesday posts on Instagram. I also perform internal communications between the executive board and club members via social media and the website about upcoming events.
OTHER PROJECTS
This semester I am spearheading the launch of a mentorship program through Aspire STL to connect younger SLU students interested in business and minority empowerment with older SLU students.
